21. listopadu 2023 proběhlo v Praze diskuzní setkání zástupců pacientského spektra a předních evropských odborníků na léčbu mnohočetného myelomu EU's Beating Cancer Plan: Closing the Treatment Gaps in the CEE and Baltics. Kliniku hematoonkologie reprezentoval jako jeden z hostů prof. MUDr. Roman Hájek, CSc. Diskuzní panel se zaměřil na potřeby pacientů a dostupnost terapií a nových forem léčby v rámci střední Evropy.
